Manchester City have agreed a £45m deal with Leeds United for England midfielder Kalvin Phillips.
The deal is reportedly worth £45m including bonuses.
The transfer has yet to be officially completed as the 26-year-old midfielder still needs to agree personal terms and pass a medical, but it will bring to an end an eight-year spell at the club which he joined as a schoolboy, aged just 14.
Philips had always insisted he wanted to remain at Leeds ‘through thick and thin’, even when there was a possibility of relegation from the Premier League, but it was only a matter of time before the lure of big money was too much to refuse.
