Manchester City are set to renew their interest in Lucas Paqueta this summer.
However, any bids for the player will only be made if the FA investigation into alleged betting breaches are dropped.
Paqueta’s contract at West Ham has an £85m release clause that becomes active in June.
The Brazil international midfielder was an the verge of a move to City last summer until the FA’s decision to hold an inquest into suspicious betting activity by the 26-year-old.
